I don’t watch the Super Bowl, because I don’t care about football. Sorry, it’s just the truth, and hopefully I didn’t offend anyone. I didn’t mean for that to be an offensive line (haha football pun! I’m proud). But honestly, not everyone likes football. Just the same way Gisele Bundchen didn’t like the way her husband’s (Tom Brady) teammates performed last night. I mean, the Patriots lost to the Giants 17 to 21. Ooh what an upset!
The only reason I know the game score is because it slithered its way into fashion news, since world-class supermodel Gisele Bundchen failed to enjoy all the negative comments audience members made about her husband’s performance.
“You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” Bundchen said, according to The Dish. “My husband cannot throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
This is random, but why do people care about football so much? Wouldn’t you rather see runway shows and photo shoots with attractive people wearing art instead? But then again, I’m mental in some people’s views. I just don’t see the appeal of watching big sweaty men with helmeted faces run around and tackle each other. Not my cup of sweet tea.
Bundchen’s Spring 2012 ad campaign with Versace, however, succeeds in capturing my attention over any touchdown, even those by Tom Brady. Now, what seems more appealing? These ads, or sweaty football players? You decide!
