Supposedly March 20th was the first day of Spring, and lately the leaves have been green and the sky a heavenly light blue, but today it’s colder than a naked snowman, oh my goodness. (I know that sounds lame, but someone just ate my brain so that’s the best I can do today).

Anyway, while leather is usually reserved for Fall and Winter due to its heavy appearance and dark color, Emporio Armani decided to throw this view out the window for its Spring 2011 Men’s collection.

So, when feeling chilly and hoping to make a statement on the boring old pavement this Spring, grace your body with some leather, or pleather, for those of you who don’t want to hurt animals’ feelings. Why? Because Emporio Armani is doing it, obviously! And who doesn’t want to emulate Emporio Armani’s style? Hopefully none of you…

And while you may look like a walking cocoon surrounded by a layer of dark leather, just think, when the sun comes out you’ll be able to toss your jacket (or pants, anyone?) to the side and become a fantastic, stunning butterfly (or moth, whatever makes you happy) radiating under sweet sunshine.

PS Shopping at Armani Exchange doesn’t make you rich and automatically stylish…wear some Emporio Armani and then you’ll cause some impressionable impressions. And don’t steal any designer clothes…according to the crazy lady who sat next to me at the bus stop yesterday, stealing will get you in jail and you do not want to know what prison life is like, m’kay? Or you could stop relying on simply wearing expensive clothes and put together an innovative outfit with decently-priced items. :)
