Montmartre – A bohemian’s paradise, where gypsies, tourists, painters and romantics conglomerate under the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur. Set atop a gradually-inclining hill, the Catholic haven provides unrivaled views of Paris. Personally, however, I believe the most curious, intriguing attractions rest on walls throughout the old district – that is, graffiti. Although spraying paint on public property can result in fines and arrests, they successfully arrested my attention while delivering me to the most mysterious realms of my mind.
To somewhat mirror the gritty area, I wore a faux leather jacket with studded lapels. Injecting the traditional leather jacket with metallic appliqués revs up the classic rebel look, creating an even more stirring appearance. Pairing the jacket with a black and white pinstriped button-up shirt added a monochromatic feel similar to the occasional mimes quietly sauntering through the Painter’s Square by the basilica. The result? A harmonious balance between roaring Moulin Rouge impropriety and silent simulation.

We LOVE Montmartre…. Everytime I go to Paris I have to stop at least one day walking the streets of Montmartre. It has something about it, I don´t know how to explain it but suddenly I see myself with all those trouble and dammed artist…Love it, just love it…

I just want to correct someting : This is not a graffiti of Salvador Dali but a self-portrait of Jef Aerosol (the artist of the graffiti, you can see his name on his graffiti) :)
